Join a theatre troupe for all ages for those who use assisted devices! This ongoing troupe meets weekly to rehearse original, new and familiar pieces.

If you and any friends/ family would like to join, please email info@Legacytheatrect.org to learn how to register, or call 203-315-1901. Classes/Rehearsals are ongoing weekly (Saturdays 11:00am-12:00pm) at the Joe Trapasso Community House, located at 46 Church Street, Branford. Participants may join anytime, and it's Free! The class engages in fun games, exercises, writing, and performing in a confidence-building, supportive environment. No acting experience necessary! Occasional performances are at the newly restored Legacy Theatre in Branford, CT.

Wheel Life Theatre Troupe featuring Pilobolus

August 2022

Legacy's Wheel Life Theatre Troupe's stunning adaptation of Peter and Wendy premiered in collaboration with Pilobolus Dance Company. With members of Legacy Theatre's core company and featuring the artistry and skill of famed Pilobolus Dancers, performers of all levels and abilities flew to Neverland and celebrated the notion of eternal childhood.  

This Expanded Voices production was generously sponsored by the Branford Community Foundation and the Guilford Foundation.

Julie Fitzpatrick
Wheel Life Theatre Troupe Instructor

Julie Fitzpatrick is delighted to be teaching acting and improv with Legacy Theatre - such a dynamic and exciting theatre! Julie is a poet, writer, actor, and teacher/acting coach who has worked with St. Martin de Porres Academy in New Haven, Madison Arts Barn, Guilford Performing Arts Festival, Moses Gunn Theater Company, Drama Works, and Wheel Life Theatre Troupe at Legacy. She is also a private acting coach and an adjudicator for talent scholarships with Shoreline Alliance for the Arts. Her acting credits run the gamut from Off-Broadway to regional theater and her Film/TV work includes Law & Order, The OA, Very Sorry, Cold Tea, The Share, Fragments of a Home, and Inventory. Julie is a member of the Guilford Poets’ Guild and has had poems published with Poets' Choice and Allegory Ridge. More information about her work can be found at juliefitzpatrick.com. Julie lives with her favorite guys: her sons, Fitz and Gracen, and her husband, Pete.
